An objective of the site was to organize all the content I’ve produced over the years and develop a useful system to “use” that content. One of my motives for continuing to produce these videos is to help make the daunting and impossible a reality, so making the content easy to find is a priority.
I don’t have a clear vision what that would look like but that doesn’t mean I can’t get started on the backend. I’ve been working on building a database of the FirstPersonBeta video archive. While a pretty front end front end is still a ways away, there’s no reason anyone can’t take advantage of whats been aggregated thus far.
The Video link at the top of page will take you to the Database is it currently exists. Some Interesting stats:
Currently there are 198 videos, 160 are currently Listed and available to be viewed.
Of those, 152 are videos of climbing but covering 91 individual climbs. This is due to the many multipitch climbs I’ve produced videos of (a single video per pitch).
33 Sport climbs
59 Trad lines
3 Bouldering Videos
Check out the list. Maybe there’s something listed that could be useful for yourself. Also be sure to check out The Manifest, which is a list of the climbs I have video of but have yet to post.
